Diamond and White Gold Earrings |
| A customer contacted me requesting that I design and make a pair of diamond earrings as a gift for his wife to coincide with their diamond anniversary. Because I find color combinations highly compelling, I asked if he might be interested in considering the possible inclusion of colored diamonds. He felt the possibility of bringing together colorless diamonds with black diamonds would best suit their tastes. The picture below shows the resulting pair of earrings made of 14K white gold with three diamonds in each. The large pair of diamonds have a combined weight of 1.10 carats. The black diamonds each weigh approximately .30 carat and the smaller diamonds seen in the upper portion of each earring weigh .11 carat.
